A stacking kit is a bracket that holds a dryer on top of a washing machine. A top loader takes none, because the lid is on top. Only the manufacturer states whether one machine may sit on another, and matching footprints alone do not establish it.

Brands with nothing published
- LG: No stacking kit appears in LG Australia's home-appliance accessories listing (68 accessories, checked 20 September 2026). Checked here.
- Asko: asko.com.au returns HTTP 403 to automated requests, so nothing could be verified from the brand's own site.
- Fisher & Paykel: Fisher & Paykel's site permits reading and their laundry manuals are now harvested (23 product pages read 21 September 2026), but no stacking kit is named in the guides read so far, and their accessories catalogue has not been read. Checked here.
- Samsung: Samsung Australia blocks automated requests, so nothing could be verified from the brand's own site.
Sources and method
Every quotation is a manufacturer's own wording, taken from the linked page on 20 Sept 2026. Where a manufacturer names model numbers, those are matched to this index on an exact model number or a single trailing letter, the same rule the price checks use. Where a kit is scoped by colour or capacity band instead of by model, that scope is stated rather than guessed at. Stacked heights add the two cabinet heights recorded in the Australian Government's energy-rating database to the kit allowance the manufacturer publishes; the 2100 mm line on the diagram is the minimum ceiling height the National Construction Code sets for a laundry.
