Privacy

EveryModel has no accounts and no sign-ups. Table filters and answers given to Help me choose are written into the page address so a result can be shared; like any address, it reaches the hosting provider's logs and the analytics below when a page loads. Nothing is stored against a visitor.

What is collected

Standard web-server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) are processed by the hosting provider, Vercel, to serve and secure the site, and age out in the ordinary course. They are not used to identify visitors.

Analytics

The site runs Google Analytics, which sets cookies and records pages viewed, approximate location, device type and how a visit arrived. The figures are used to measure page use and referral sources. Clicks on retailer links are recorded with the retailer and the model's registration number only. Google's handling of this data is covered by Google's own privacy policy; blocking the analytics script does not affect how the site works.

Retailer links

Links to retailers this site has an affiliate arrangement with pass through the retailer's affiliate network and carry the model's registration number so a commission can be attributed to this site; links to other retailers and to manufacturers go straight to them. The identifier refers to the model, not the visitor. After clicking out, the retailer's and network's own cookies and privacy policies apply.

Email sent to the contact address is retained only for as long as the correspondence requires. Privacy questions go to the same address.
